Instructor: Chef Laurel Kahn, owner and chef, Mackinaw’s Restaurant, Chehalis, WA
Chef Laurel attended the western Culinary Institute in Portland and after many years in the restaurant business, opened Mackinaw’s, a very well-loved restaurant in downtown Chehalis. This evening she’ll teach a lovely menu that is satisfyingly appropriate for the winter season, starting with Cheese and Ale FondueRoasted Cauliflower and Leek Soup and Mixed Greens with her signatureCitrus Vinaigrette. Parmesan Crusted Halibut Cheeks withCelery Root Puree and Roasted Root Vegetables is the main event and a luscious Coconut Custard Pie tops it all off!
